The Annapolis Post Office is an early 20th century brick and stone structure that sits in the heart of downtown Annapolis facing Church Circle. The original structure dates to approximately 1901 with the addition being erected in the 1920s. These two phases of constructed used slightly varied brick colors resulting in UBG searching for and finding 3 different brick to blend for various replacements and infills. UBG worked on site from February 2018 through February 2019. UBER’s scope included brick masonry and stone cleaning, repointing, repair, and replacement on all elevations of the building. Additionally, UBG removed and installed new bluestone base pieces at the bottom of the front elevation as well as installing lead T caps at the cornice, balustrade, and coping stones.
